Lobster Quiche, Photo Albums, and Derek Jeter

What  do these three have in common? Valid question, and here is the answer: They are all things I was taught in 5 minute videos. In their beta release 5 min videos provides short yet informative "How to" videos on an array of topics. From French cuisine to playing America's past time like a pro, you can learn how to DIY (do it yourself) in a 5 min video.

Below I've shared just a few of the informative videos as a sampling of some random things you can learn.  If you're wondering how to do it and would rather see how its done than read about it, this is a link you'll want to save.

Time, People, Sports Illustrated. Icons of the Print Age & soon to be relics.

Bonnier has created an intriguing video below demonstrating how a "digital magazine" might work on a new Apple "iSlate" tablet device. From their originating blog, which accompanies the video:

The concept aims to capture the essence of magazine reading, which people have been enjoying for decades: an engaging and unique reading experience in which high-quality writing and stunning imagery build up immersive stories.

The concept uses the power of digital media to create a rich and meaningful experience, while maintaining the relaxed and curated features of printed magazines. It has been designed for a world in which interactivity, abundant information and unlimited options could be perceived as intrusive and overwhelming.

The purpose of publishing this concept video is first and foremost to spark a discussion around the digital reading experience in general, and digital reading platforms in particular. Thus, we would be more than happy to hear what you have to say regarding the concept and ideas expressed in the video: the magazine reading experience, digital browsing, text versus images, as well as hear about your own digital reading experiences and thoughts.

Where Can I Get An Invite To Google Wave?

So what is this "Google Wave" contraption and how does it work?

Good question, and quite honestly, the only answer is to roll up your sleeves and try it for yourself. If  you haven't yet received an invitation from Google and would like to try it out, get in touch and I will extend an invitation on your behalf. Blake Mycoskie Shares His Engaging Account Of TOM's Shoes Rise To Fame. (@ Steelcase) #ThisIsHow

I've heard the saying before, and even recently when I considered starting a Non-Profit: "You can't do business with your heart."

Non-profit's are an entirely different breed of business and Blake speaks to some similar points in this video. Its a few minutes long, but well worth the watch, a great story and a smart young business mind.
